Just two ordinary people who said "Yes".

This is our story…

Before meeting each other, we had both received a call from the Lord to preach the Gospel in Asia.

God brought us together in Pensacola, Florida where we attended Liberty Bible College.

After Bible College, we planted a church in Louisiana and also worked as an assistant pastor in Topeka Kansas.

In 1991, after ten years of marriage and ministry in the United States, God opened the doors to Asia and we moved our family to Thailand.

We began in the central region where we spent our first seven years learning the Thai language and working with a team to plant Grace Bible Church. (located in Chon Buri Province)

In 1998, we moved to Northeast Thailand to begin River of Life Church Planting and Evangelistic Ministry.  Starting with our outreach team and a few neighborhood boys we started meeting in a rented facility.  We trained our team and all worked together to win people to Jesus and disciple them. River of Life Church is in located in the city of Khon Kaen and after the church was established, we began reaching out to villages surrounding the city.

Thus a new ministry was born.

In 2013, we began working exclusively in the villages around Khon Kaen. Now, we oversee several groups that meet in homes and a team which is made up of village believers that work along with us to evangelize and plant new groups in the neighboring villages.

We have a passionate desire to reach the unreached people of Northeast Thailand and lead them into encounters with Jesus Christ.

All our children are adults.  We have four grandchildren.

Our Mission Explained:

We believe…

  • Thai people should be able to follow Jesus, experience the Kingdom of God and have an engaging relationship with other believers without having to leave their village.

  • Villagers should be able to freely share their faith and minister to others without mandatory participation in another church that is located many miles away.

  • Home churches enable the believer to reach their family, neighbors and friends while providing a framework for discipleship and church growth within their village communities.

We began to ask “WHAT IF…”

  • Thai believers could be empowered to reach their family and neighborhood

  • Leadership Training and Bible School could take place right where they live

  • Thai believers could lead their own churches

  • Village House Churches could multiply freely

  • We could see a Jesus movement in the Unreached Villages of Northeast Thailand

We are thankful to have begun to see village believers becoming committed disciples.  We began to take them out with us to reach new people. We have seen groups form as a natural way to disciple believers, and now they are going out on their own as well. More and more, our job has been to train and empower the village workers the Lord is raising up.  They come back reporting what God has done - the miracles, the baptisms, the new villages being reached - these testimonies let us know that we are on the cusp of a movement here among the Northeast Thailand village people.

…counting it honor to proclaim the  good news, not where Christ has already been named, lest I build on another man's foundation…Rom.15:20
