So that no one will be lost
The other night I was reminded how important it is to share the gospel with every person we possibly can. You never know if you will see them again. This man and his wife came to our home meeting in Wang To village to receive Jesus, but he was so sick with late stages of cancer that he had to go home. After the wife received Jesus, the family asked us to follow them home so we could pray for him there. We went over to his house, explained the gospel and prayed with him. This man received Jesus and was radically changed by God's grace. The next time we saw him, he was so excited and asked for more literature to use in sharing the gospel with his friends. That was our last time to see him. We just learned he passed away early thursday morning.
2 Peter 3:9 (CEV) ...The Lord isn’t slow about keeping his promises, as some people think he is. In fact, God is patient, because he wants everyone to turn from sin and no one to be lost...
